Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is responsible for the following activities:

  • Reviewing and recommending organizations for membership within Indiana 211 Partnership, Inc.;
  • Maintaining the list of organizations that have signed the memorandum of understanding with IN211 and advising members about payment of annual dues;
  • Presenting the board with a slate of officers for the annual meeting (usually held in March);
  • Nominating persons to fill board vacancies as necessary; and
  • Preparing and presenting by-laws revisions, as necessary.

IN211 seeks broad representation for its membership. According to the by-laws, membership in IN211 is limited to organizations that provide or support information and referral or human services in Indiana.
